Living in Thailand - MY BANGKOK HOUSE TOUR | $601.69 Per Month in BKK + Cost of Living!

Living in Bangkok - House for $601.69 per month! Subscribe► https://www.youtube.com/c/markabroad T-shirts► https://migrationology.com/store/ Ying and I do quite a bit of traveling and I've shown you some of the places we stay on our trips, from Airbnbn apartments to hotels. But I still haven't yet given you a tour of the house we live in in Bangkok, Thailand! So here's our house - we're renting it right now in Bangkok. We live along with Ying's parents and her sister. There are five adults and one baby living in this house, and we still have 3 extra spare bedrooms! Bangkok, Thailand living expenses / cost of living: House rent - 20,000 THB ($601.69) per month Electricity - 3,000 THB ($90.25) per month Water - 250 THB ($7.52) per month Internet - 1,200 THB ($36.10) per month Overall, for the area we live in and the space of the house, for Bangkok we're getting a pretty good deal. You can get much cheaper places living in rural areas of Thailand, but in the city in a good location, this is a very good deal. I hope this living in Thailand, Bangkok house tour gives you a good idea about living conditions and houses you could potentially rent in Bangkok. Thai Airways FOOD REVIEW - Flying From Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan to Bangkok

Subscribe here► https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxkF42nqXoZ0sZP-GqU-Cww T-shirts ► https://migrationology.com/store/ I flew Thai Airways from Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan back home to Bangkok, Thailand. This video shows the entire process, starting from Sapporo Station back to Bangkok. First of all, before catching the JR Rail train to the airport, I put my suitcase in a locker in Sapporo Station and had a quick lunch. They have a number of locker sizes, but many for 500 JPY ($4.48) for the day. JR Rail to Airport - 1,590 JPY ($14.26) - You can buy JR train tickets for cheaper if you don't reserve a seat, but you also run the risk of having to stand for the entire journey. But it's up to you, they have JR trains running in either direction and it's convenient and easy to use. New Chitose Airport - We arrived to New Chitose Airport, the airport that serves Sapporo, and headed straight to catch our flight on Thai Airways. The food serves on Thai Airways for this flight was Japanese food style because the plane left from Japan. Overall, food was ok, not the best airplane food I've had, but the bad. Etihad Airways FOOD REVIEW | Bangkok to Abu Dhabi UAE Airport to Karachi!

Subscribe here► https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxkF42nqXoZ0sZP-GqU-Cww T-shirts ► https://migrationology.com/store/ Second trip to Pakistan, and this time we took Etihad Airways from Bangkok to Abu Dhabi Airport to Karachi. I was excited to fly on Etihad because it was my first time. Our first flight from Bangkok to Abu Dhabi, UAE, was fantastic, although it left late due to some unforeseen circumstances. The flight was great, staff were nice and food was ok. When we landed at Abu Dhabi we only had about 45 minutes until our next flight to Karachi departed. And we had to board a bus that dropped us off on the opposite side of the airport and had to get through security checks. I was hoping to give you a bit more of an Abu Dhabi airport tour in this video, but we literally had to sprint through the airport to our next flight. We got to the gate just in time, they were already boarding. Since Abu Dhabi to Karachi was just a 1 hour 45 min flight and it was in the middle of the night, there wasn't much food on the flight apart from a few sandwiches. Great to be back in Pakistan and I can't wait to share a few videos with you! It has an honor to receive an upgrade to our room at Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Bangkok along the Chao Phraya River. The hotel is a classic in Bangkok, one of the oldest, and with a significant history of catering to travelers along the banks of the river. They upgraded us to a suite room in the newer wing of the hotel, and it was a stunning luxurious hotel room with a nice view of the river. Breakfast is also pretty good, served along the Chao Phraya river. You have a choice of plenty of both Western, Thai, and even some Chinese foods for breakfast, plus a nice selection of Thai tropical fruits. I did not pay for my stay, but I was not required to post a video, and all thoughts in this video are my own. Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi, Pakistan (Avani Hotels) The hotel is one of the classic old hotels in Karachi, Pakistan. Some of the featured in the hotel are a little old and could do with a renovation, but at the same time that's part of what gives the hotels its charm and character. There's not really a beach, but more like a waterfront or lagoon front, but that does make for a nice ambiance. First we were invited by the manager to eat dinner at Casbah Restaurant, the hotels main seafood dinner restaurant. Food was good and seafood was fresh. At the same time, Atif Aslam was having a concert at the hotel. So we were able to listen to the concert while eating for an amazing atmosphere. We had a great stay, than you again to Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi, Pakistan! If you book accommodation with my link https://bit.ly/2OEzeMr I'll receive a small commission at no expense to you. Traveling on the train from Munich to Zurich! So the night before we left, I bought tickets on the train, direct from Munich to Zurich on Bahn.com. We arrived at the Munich Central train station, which is a very nice and spacious station, and our first mission was to buy some train food. I ended up with a wonderful pretzel and a Bavarian sandwich. The sandwiches were pretty amazing. Sandwiches and coffee - 12.50 EUR It was a great ride, and as we kept going the views and mountains kept getting more and more beautiful. For the train we were 3 adults and I paid about 400 EUR for round-trip ticket from Munich to Zurich. Train is always one of the best ways to travel! Living in Japan - TOKYO APARTMENT TOUR in Shinjuku | Where To Stay in Tokyo $60 Per Night!

This was a great condo, located not far from the central Shinjuku area of Tokyo. One of the things I love most about living or visiting Japan is that the living spaces are so cosy and so comfortable. Even though you usually don’t have a lot of extra space or moving room, there’s everything you need in a Tokyo apartment in such a small space. In this apartment in Tokyo, there was 1 bedroom, 1 living space with a small balcony attached, a small kitchen with a bar counter dining space, and finally a bathroom equipped with a life-changing Japanese Toto toilet and something completely new for me - a Japanese sitting shower. Hope you enjoyed this Japan apartment tour in Tokyo. This is a little glimpse into the possibilities of living or staying in Japan and an apartment you can rent when you visit. I rented just for 1 week, so it was short term, for $60 per night. But renting an apartment like this per month should be much more affordable. Emirates Airline FOOD REVIEW - Bangkok to Dubai to Munich | Layover at Dubai International Airport

One of the most affordable airlines that has plenty of flights connecting Asia and Europe is Emirates Airlines. Emirates has consistently been rated as one of the best airlines in the world. We flew economy class, and thanks to baby Micah we had pretty good seats in the front with nice legroom. We first flew from Bangkok to Dubai, with a layover at Dubai International Airport, and then on from Dubai to Bangkok. The food on Emirates economy class is pretty decent. Uzbekistan Airways FOOD REVIEW - Flying from Bangkok to Tashkent, Uzbekistan

08:55
Check out my highlights of Uzbekistan: https://goo.gl/6NSDmz T-shirts and caps: https://goo.gl/6WdK1l Bangkok → Tashkent In this video we traveled from Bangkok to Tashkent on Uzbekistan Airways... I hadn't even really heard of Uzbekistan Airways before taking my first flight with them. The airplane was a little bit on the older side, no personal tv's, which wasn't a problem for me since it wasn't that long of a flight, but with kind of aged bucket seats. For dinner there was a choice of fish or chicken, I chose the chicken though I had a bite of the fish. The chicken came in patty form, in tomato sauce. They were alright, not the best airplane food I've ever had, but not bad. We arrived safely in the middle of the night at Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport, and were met by someone to escort us through customs - thank you Bekruz for arranging that - it was very convenient. In Tashkent, we stayed at Wyndham Tashkent Hotel (aff link: https://goo.gl/zTX5FA) Overall, flight on Uzbekistan Airways was alright, but nothing extraordinary. Phnom Penh, Cambodia is an amazing city, that's always exciting, full of friendly people, and there's excellent street food everywhere you look. In May 2017, my wife and I along with a friend of mine Joel, stayed in Phnom Penh, Cambodia for a week and rather than staying in a hotel, I often prefer to stay in a local house / home. This house, that I booked on Airbnb for a week was pretty basic and barebones, but I liked it, especially because it was real local shop-house style living in Cambodia, and it was in a local area, far removed from the tourist areas of Phnom Penh. It was my first time to fly with them, and overall the flights were very nice and service was good. I was also impressed that, even though we were in economy class, even on the short flight from Lombok to Jakarta, they served us a meal. The newly opened Jakarta International Airport terminal for Garuda Indonesia was also very nice, newly opened, and extremely clean. On my previous trip to Jakarta they new airport hadn't been opened yet. The food on Garuda Indonesia Airline was decent, not the best airplane food I've had, but ok. As soon as we entered the airplane, the service was great, and we had baby friendly seats, so we were all the way at the front of the airplane with plenty of leg space. Although the apartment doesn't look that great from the outside, the inside was very nice, and very classic. The owner did a great job of decorating so it was slightly arty, yet still clean and very comfortable. Although we didn't have a view of the acropolis from the balcony, the apartment was located very close to the Athens Acropolis, and just a short walk from Syngrou Fix station. I paid $78.67 per night, for my wife and I and our baby. We chose a place that was more pricey because it was bigger and had a couple of closed door rooms, which we need these days when we travel with a baby. Bali LUXURY BEACH RESORT - Full Tour and Review of Sofitel Hotel in Bali, Indonesia!

Subscribe► https://www.youtube.com/c/markabroad T-shirts► https://migrationology.com/store/ NOTE: I did some hosting work for Accor Hotels at Sofitel, and they invited my wife and I to stay for a few extra nights. So I didn't pay for my stay, but I wasn't required in any way to make this video. I made it because I wanted to. September 2017 Sofitel is one of the well known beach resorts in Nusa Dua, Bali. They hooked us up with a very nice room with direct access to the swimming pool - which is probably one of the coolest features of the hotel. The service was great, and I think the breakfast buffet was excellent. It's a laid back place to stay in Bali, so laid back and relaxing, that my wife and I barely even wanted to go anywhere when we were staying there. Sofitel in Bali is the type of resort where you can just stay the entire day, relaxing, and swimming and not go anywhere. As for the beach, it's not the most amazing beach. The views are fantastic, but for actually beach swimming, it's not the best you'll see. Also another drawback I found is that Nusa Dua is kind of a secluded resort area in Bali. So in order to get our of the resort area you need to take a taxi, you can't just walk out and find street food. Again, I didn't pay, but I searched and found that this room sometimes goes for around $400, however it could fluctuate quite a bit by season - and I was there in high season. It's a well known resort, isolated on its own beach and peninsula - and actually I didn't even know this at first, but you have to take a small boat ride to get there - you can't even drive there. So it's very quiet, very relaxing, and the natural beauty is spectacular. We had a great time and really enjoyed some peace and relaxation. The food at the resort is pretty decent as well. In this video, I'll give you a full review of our flight and especially show you the food on the flight and at the Munich Airport. First of all, we arrived to Munich Airport, and we were really hungry. I didn't know at the time, but Munich Airport is ranked as one of the best in the world, and it's very nicely designed. First, we stopped at Dallmayr, a German cafe and restaurant to have breakfast. Total price - 32.70 EUR Our flight left on time, and we were served a full lunch on Aegean Airlines including pasta and chicken. It was alright, not bad at all. There's wasn't too much leg space on our plane, but overall, it was a great flight with Aegean Airlines. Thank you for watching this airplane food flight review! Thailand Beach House Tour - FAMILY VACATION in Rayong, Thailand!

Subscribe► https://www.youtube.com/c/markabroad T-shirts► https://migrationology.com/store/ After returning home to Thailand from traveling in Indonesia, my wife and her sisters planned a family vacation to Rayong (about a 3 hour drive to Bangkok) on the beach. We rented a family beach house, right along the ocean. It was a nice property, sort of reminded me of a camp like setting, and the house included nice places to sit and private individual rooms. What I liked is that it was quiet and peaceful and you could do all your own cooking. The property is called Baan Kaiwan (บ้านไกวัล although I saw on Google they sometimes spell is Baan Kai Val). Price - 9,000 THB ($274.91) per night - I thought it was a little expensive for what you get - but I guess you pay to be right by the beach, and I think we might have gotten a higher rate because we were there on the weekend on a holiday. -- MUSIC: I won't be turned - https://goo.gl/HwVjdo CAMERA GEAR used to make this video (these are affiliate links): GH5: http://amzn.to/2sV0XQO Main lens: http://amzn.to/2szLZNf Microphone: http://amzn.to/2rBKD3z Tripod: http://amzn.to/2rBFkkI ►T-shirts and caps available here: https://migrationology.com/store/ SOCIAL MEDIA: My main channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/migrationology Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/migrationology Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/migrationology Thank you for watching!

AirAsia FOOD REVIEW - Flying From Bangkok to Denpasar, Bali!

Flying on AirAsia from Bangkok to Bali! Subscribe here► https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxkF42nqXoZ0sZP-GqU-Cww T-shirts ► https://migrationology.com/store/ August 2017 For this flight, my wife and I were doing some filming for Accor Hotels, and so we flew from Bangkok to Denpasar, Bali, in Indonesia with AirAsia. Now, over the years I've taken AirAsia many many times because they offer some of the best budget flights around SouthEast Asia. But food is always extra cost and haven't ever bought it. But since my flight this time was sponsored by the company, they included it in my ticket. They had already pre-booked my meal option, so I didn't have a choice of what to order, but my meal was chicken Manchurian. Turned out to be not the greatest airplane meal I've ever had. My advice, make sure you always eat before you get on your AirAsia flight! But we arrived safely and fine to Bali. The location in southern Dubai, is kind of a enclave of tall building and it's extremely modern. It's a good area to stay, though next trip to Dubai, I would probably choose to stay more in the downtown area. The apartment was very luxurious, and extremely spacious and comfortable. It's a huge apartment complex that includes just about everything you could need all within the compound - supermarket, pharmacy, and many other things. Overall, a very nice apartment in Dubai - and it was a very good deal renting it short term in comparison to paying for a hotel room. Thank you for watching! Chanthaburi, Thailand Travel Guide - ROCKET ICE CREAM, Riverside Hotel, Coffee, and Walking Tour!

10:30
Chanthaburi is a charming city full of history, in the Eastern part of Thailand. From Bangkok, we drove to Chanthaburi, and it was about a 3 hour drive. One of the charms of the city is the old riverfront community. Tamajun Hotel - https://www.agoda.com/partners/partnersearch.aspx?pcs=1&cid=1452029&hl=en&hid=869492 (this is an affiliate link) - I chose to stay here because it's a classic guest house, affordable and located right on the river front. Rooms are a little small and dark, but you can't beat the location and classic feel. Overall, a good stay. C.A.P - Also located in old town Chathaburi, C.A.P. is one of the best places to drink coffee. It's a hang out spot and the coffee in wonderful. Rocket Ice Cream (ไอศกรีมตราจรวด จันทบุรี) - This is a historic ice cream shop you can't leave Chanthaburi without trying. Micah enjoyed it! Cathedral of Immaculate Conception - This is the main cathedral of old town Chanthaburi. It's especially nice to visit in the evening. This is just a short walking tour of Chanthaburi. It's a nice place to visit in Thailand for a few days. And there are also many other things to do in the province. Check out my full Eastern Thailand food and travel video series here:

Living in Bali - RICE PADDY VILLA TOUR | Balinese House in Indonesia $77 Per Night!

So after some searching I found a place near Ubud that looked very quiet and nice. It was a beautiful place, very relaxing and I enjoyed the entire community. We had 2 full rooms, a swimming pool, a kitchen, and a living space. And one of the best things about staying in a Balinese villa in the rice paddies is being able to take walks and just enjoying the incredible countryside of Bali. Our host family that owns the villa was also very kind and welcoming. A few drawbacks: - It's a little isolated, and you have to walk or take a motorbike out to the main road. So you have to pre-arrange transportation everyday. - Unless you go out of the neighborhood there are no really local food options. But overall, my family and I really enjoyed our stay. Subscribe► https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxkF42nqXoZ0sZP-GqU-Cww T-shirts► https://migrationology.com/store/ July 2017 - For this trip to Israel, my wife and I rented an apartment in Tel Aviv, Israel, and used it as our base to explore the region. From the outside, the neighborhood and buildings look a little old and run down, but on the inside, the apartment that we rented was superb. It was spacious, perfectly laid out, and what I especially loved, and I think you will too, is the outdoor terrace / balcony. The weather was perfect in July, a little warm in the sun, but in the shade on the ends of the day on the balcony it was amazing to sit outside. I hope you enjoyed this Tel Aviv apartment tour and that it gives you a glimpse into local living in Tel Aviv. I found Tel Aviv to be a very expensive city to live and travel in. I rented this apartment on Airbnb for $114 per night for a very short term stay, that's why it was expensive, but rent by the month can also be quite expensive in central Tel Aviv. In comparison to hotels in Tel Aviv though, for that amount of space, I found them to be quite expensive and in high demand as well. The prices are not cheap in Germany, but I think in comparison to what you get for a hotel room, it's still a very good value. I was with my wife, my wife's sister, and our baby Micah. In this Munich apartment tour, I walk you through the apartment. It's just a 1 bedroom apartment, but it's really spacious and would be very comfortable living for a single or couple. One thing I love most about living in Germany or renting an apartment in Munich / Germany, is that German design and the awareness of natural light in the house.
