Deep Sea Creatures [National Geographic Documentary 2017 HD] The Deep sea creature refers to organisms that live below the photic zone of the ocean. These creatures must survive in extremely harsh conditions, such as hundreds of bars of pressure, small amounts of oxygen, very little food, no sunlight, and constant, extreme cold. Most creatures have to depend on food floating down from above. These creatures live in very demanding environments, such as the abyssal or hadal zones, which, being thousands of meters below the surface, are almost completely devoid of light. The water is between 3 and 10 degrees Celsius and has low oxygen levels. Due to the depth, the pressure is between 20 and 1,000 bars. Creatures that live hundreds or even thousands of meters deep in the ocean have adapted to the high pressure, lack of light, and other factors. The depths of the ocean are festooned with the most nightmarish creatures imaginable. You might think you’re safe, because these critters live thousands of feet down in a cold dark abyss, but the vampire squid, which looks like a nightmare umbrella, and the frilled shark—a literal living fossil—will live on in the recesses of your mind long after you’ve clicked away. Enjoy these deep sea horrors and try to have a relaxing day afterward. ► NOTE : I'm a big fan of National Geographic and I just collect the best parts of National Geographic. I do not make money from National Geographic's Video. Thanks You very much

Here are 5 Extremely Creepy Deep Sea Creatures Click Here To Subscribe! http://bit.ly/EliteFacts List : 5. The Ningen This creature from the depths of the ocean may be just about the creepiest thing you could ever see. The reason for this, is that it looks just like a human even having strange limbs that resemble arms and legs. The name Ningen is actually human in Japanese. However, there is no need to panic and worry that the world will be taken over by strange alien sea creatures, because there has never been any official sightings of this little beastie and general opinion is that it’s just a freaky urban myth much like the mermaid. 4. Mantis Shrimp This rainbow hued little creature is not as nice as it looks. It is actually extremely clever and horribly dangerous. One of its main talents is being able to see colours that far surpass even the furthest imagination of humans. As well as, it is an efficient killing machine, it has two appendages at the front of its body which can lash out so powerfully that they cause the water surrounding the creature to reach boiling point! So, even the clever prey that have managed to avoid the physical attack will be rendered defenceless by the boiling water. 3. Pelican Eel Eel’s in general are quite creepy looking, but this one has taken it to another level. This slippery character is basically just a huge mouth with a tail attached. The mouth itself is absolutely terrifying, it unhinges so that its owner can catch prey that is twice its size. The chosen prey is then stored in a pouch within the lower jaw. However, the tail can be just as weird as it possesses a small light producing organ that is called a photophore and this gives off an eerie pink glow. 2. Humpback Anglerfish The female of this species most certainly has a licence to kill. She uses her feminine charm which comes in the form of a bioluminescent lure dangling over her forehead to draw in prey that she can destroy with her rows of ferocious teeth. 1. Predatory Tunicate This is basically a Venus Fly Trap that lives underwater. They are almost completely translucent and they stick themselves to the sea floor and wait patiently for a tasty meal to come along. Once an unsuspecting critter falls for the trap the creatures snap their hoods shut until they’ve had their fill. 10 Most Dangerous Water Animals In The World ► Subscribe: https://goo.gl/vHN6qB For copyright matters please contact us at: [email protected] There are many different types of creatures that live in streams, lakes, seas and oceans. And while many of these creatures are harmless, there are many that are incredibly dangerous if you happen to have an encounter with them. These dangerous animals lurk beneath the surface of the water in a world vastly different than ours, and must be deadly to survive. Join us as we take a look at 10 of the most dangerous water creatures. 10. Australian Box Jellyfish – This creature is not one to be messed around with if you happen to swim into a swarm of them. And while they may seem harmless, the Australian box jellyfish is considered to be the most venomous marine animal in the world. They have tentacles that are covered with tiny darts called nematocysts, and they are loaded with poison. 9. Flower Urchin – Beautiful but deadly, these sea urchins are extremely venomous. They look like a bouquet of small flowers; to which they get their name from. They feed on invertebrates, sponges, and dead fish, and have well developed jaws for grinding up their prey. 8. The Saltwater Crocodile – Evolving around 200 million years in the Mesozoic epoch, crocodiles have far outlived the dinosaurs. The Salt water crocodile is the world’s largest reptile, and they have been known to grow up to 27 feet long and weigh 2,465 lbs. 7. Textile Cone Snail – Mother nature teaches us that anything in nature that is beautiful, is most likely deadly, and a warning to predators and humans to not touch or disturb them. This holds true for the Textile Cone Snail. 6. The Sea Snake – These highly venomous marine snakes are closely related and belong to the same family as the cobra. There are two independently evolved groups: the true sea snakes which are related to Australian terrestrial elapids, and the sea kraits which are related to Asian cobras. 5. The Lionfish – Lionfish are skilled hunters, using specialized bilateral swim bladder muscles to provide exquisite control of location in the water column, allowing the fish to alter its center of gravity to better attack prey. The lionfish then spreads its large pectoral fins and swallows its prey in a single motion. 4. The Stingray – Stingrays are a group of rays, which are cartilaginous fish related to sharks, and are one of the oceans deadliest creatures. Most stingrays have one or more barbed stingers on their tails, which are used exclusively for self-defense. 3. Blue-Ringed Octopus – This octopus has some of the most striking colors of any ocean creature. They get their name from the brightly blue colored rings on its body. 2. Needlefish – These strange looking creatures are very slender, and have a single dorsal fin, placed far back on the body. Needlefish are capable of making short jumps out of the water at up to 37 mph. Since Needlefish swim near the surface, they often leap over the decks of shallow boats rather than going around. 1. The Moray Eel - Most attacks stem from disruption of a moray's burrow to which they react strongly, but an increasing number of accidents also occur during hand feeding of morays by divers, an activity often used by dive companies to attract tourists.

Top 10 most amazing animals found in the ocean Subscribe to TheHub http://goo.gl/87YJzG For copyright matters please contact us at: [email protected] Remember those fishing trips with your parents when you were just a kid? You’d be amazed every time you caught something, and your parents would act impressed, too, even if it was smaller than your palm. At the time you’d find it hard to believe that there were creatures in the ocean bigger than that. Obviously, now that you’ve grown older, you’re aware of some of the huge beasts that grace our seas. Of course, there’s the blue whale or the great white shark, but have you ever considered some of the lesser-known creatures out there? We’ve put together a list of some of the biggest living things you’ll find in the ocean – although they’re not necessarily all things you would like to catch. For example, you most definitely do not want to come across a Giant Spider Crab while paddling at the shore, although chance would be a fine thing, as they don’t tend to swim to the surface. Or what about the Fin Whale? A far friendlier giant, it’s one you should try and see in your lifetime – if it doesn’t get hunted into extinction anytime soon. If you’re venturing further afield, and happen to be in Antarctica, you might be lucky enough to be greeted by a Southern Elephant Seal. You’ll be surprised to find out why it’s named that, too. Some other interesting beasts in our video include the Lion’s Mane Jellyfish, the Oceanic Manta Ray and the Whale Shark, but you’ll have to watch the video to find out the rest.

What are the biggest sea creatures? Think you know what lurks in the depths of the ocean? While nearly 95% of our oceans haven’t been explored yet, it’s hard not to let your imagination run wild. But thanks to brave explorers, deep-sea cameras, and awesome archaeologists, we do know about some pretty incredible sea creatures living in our waters today…and millions of years ago. From the 9-ft spider crab to the 60-ft prehistoric Megalodon, these sea dwellers come in all shapes and sizes! Have you ever heard about lion’s mane jellyfish? This invertebrate can grow up to 120 ft long! And it boasts a whopping 8 sets of 70 to 150 tentacles! Oh, boy! These prehistoric reptiles grew to be about 50 ft long and weighed about 60,000 lb! - Ophthalmosaurus thrived during the late Jurassic period and lived in oceans all over the world. It weighed somewhere around 6,000 lb and grew to approximately 16 ft long. - Another marine reptile that lived during the Jurassic Period was known as Liopleurodon. A more aggressive marine reptile, these carnivorous sea beasts weighed about 5,000 lb and grew to around 30 ft long. - Ichthyosaurus only grew to about 6 ft, which would put them at the same height as a guy who was slightly taller than average today. - The orca, also known as the killer whale, is a toothed whale and can grow to anywhere from 23 ft to 32 ft, which is slightly smaller than a school bus. - The largest whale that still exists today is the blue whale. If you were to put a blue whale next to a school bus, it would look like it could swallow it. - The Portuguese man o’ war, tentacles and all, can reach a length of 165 ft long. While this thing may look a lot like a jellyfish, it’s actually known as a siphonophore, and there are hundreds and sometimes thousands of them that are genetically identical. Did you know any of these amazing and scary deep sea creatures? It's hard to believe these bizarre animals exist. Subscribe: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg 'Hatchet Fish' footage by Filmic Art : www.filmicart.com For copyright matters please contact us at: [email protected] Description: There is a vast world below the ocean that we have yet to discover in its entirety. While we seem to know nearly everything about the land, the sea still leaves much to be desired. As you go down into the depths of the ocean, you’ll notice a lot will change. For one, you’ll begin to be immersed in darkness. Second, the pressure will change. So, the creatures that have been discovered deep in the oceanic depths are quite different biologically, and they can be quite terrifying to look at. But once we begin to understand them, we can start to learn more about our existence, and even come closer to curing diseases and solving some of the world’s most complex mysteries. However, the sea creatures that have been discovered recently have shown to be just downright creepy and terrifying. You probably recall the Angler Fish, especially if you’re seen the Disney movie, “Finding Nemo”. If you didn’t realize that this fish is the real deal, get ready for new additions to your nightmares. It wasn’t a work of fiction or some messed up fantasy of some Disney Imagineer. The fish that we see in this video is actually female, and the male is a small weakling, wandering the sea to find a female with her pheromones. The male then attaches itself to the female and becomes a parasite. Every part of the male merges with the female except for the testicles, which the female uses to impregnate herself. Jokes aside, this is quite a fascinating process despite how creepy it is. Similar to the angler fish is the Viper Fish, which has a natural extra attachment that illuminates in the darkness of the sea with the purpose of attracting prey. The blob fish is a creature that you wonder what God was smoking or shooting up when he decided to create the blob fish. This fish has no bones, and literally just hangs out on the ocean floor and hopes that food comes to its mouth. Whether you want to worship the blob fish for its epic level of laziness or wonder how in the world the species is still in existence with such an apathetic demeanor, it’s still creepy to look at. Then we have the goblin shark, which is pretty much like the underwater version of the alien from the movie “Alien” due to its protruding mouth. The goblin shark has a large snout and needle-like teeth that are sharp and deadly. For a completely random sea creature, we have the Christmas Tree Worms, which really look like tiny walking fir trees that come in different colors. The branches or hair-like appendages help them breathe as well as consume phytoplankton. Then we have the sea pig, which looks nothing like the pigs we have on land. But instead the sea pig is a multi-tubed foot sea creature that is closely related to the sea cucumber. It eats by pulling water and absorbing organic food. Quite innovative, even though it looks creepy. For more creepy sea creatures, check out the rest of the video for more. Sea creatures you never knew existed. These animals lived in the deepest parts of the ocean & you should be glad that these fish are extinct. Support our Patreon today: https://www.patreon.com/theywillkillyou Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 Follow us on Instagram: @theywillkillyou Voiceover by Carl Mason: [email protected] 12 The Dumbo octopus The Dumbo octopus is a species of octopi that resembles the title character of the Disney film. It has prominent ear-like fins making it look like a baby elephant’s head. The Dumbo octopus lives at depths of over 13,000 feet below sea level. They grow to almost 6ft in length and weigh up to 13 pounds. 11 Ocean Sunfish The ocean sunfish is the heaviest bony fish in the world, weighing between 545 and 2,205 pounds. Living on a diet of sea jellies and small fish, which it has to consume in very large quantities because of their poor nutritional value. 10 Humpback Anglerfish The humpback anglerfish, also known as the humpback black devil, lives at depths ranging from 800 to 13,000 feet below the ocean’s surface. They have black soft bodies and large heads, widened mouths and long pointed teeth. Females are capable of eating prey even larger than themselves. 9 Amphipoda Amphipoda is an order of crustaceans that range in size from 0.03 inches to 13.4 inches. Their bodies are laterally compressed and have no carapace. The most interesting thing about amphipods is their feeding behavior. There are more than 9.900 species, and some are flesh-eating scavengers. Amphipods have two front pairs of legs with large claws. 8 Sarcastic Fringehead The sarcastic fringehead is a small fish with a large Predator-like mouth and aggressive territorial behavior. It can only grow up to 12 inches long and lives in the Pacific, off the coast of North America, from San Francisco, California to central Baja California. 7 Pelican eel The Pelican eel, also known as the gulper eel, has a very large mouth which it can open wide enough to swallow bigger fish. Gulper eels live at extreme depths from 1,600 to almost 10,000 ft. 6 Pacific Viperfish The Pacific viperfish lives in the abyssal depths of the deep sea and is easily recognized by its large open mouth. It’s a predatory fish that can reach lengths of 1 foot and it has an iridescent dark silver body. Pacific viperfish cannot close their mouths due to their very large fang-like teeth which they use to trap their prey with. They also have a light or gone located at the end of their dorsal fin rays. 5 Abyssal ghostsharks Pointy-nosed blue chimaeras or more commonly known as abyssal ghostsharks are sea creatures that live in temperate ocean floors down to 6,500 feet deep. They are believed to be some of the oldest fish in existence, as they branched off from sharks nearly 400 million years ago. 4 Stargazer Fish Stargazers are a family of fish that camouflage themselves in the sand on the ocean floor and attack when a fish swims by. Their eyes are mounted on the top of their heads and they have upward facing mouths. Stargazers have two large venomous spines located above their pectoral fins and some species can also cause electric shock. Their way of attacking other fish combined with their ability to cause electric shock and the fact that they also have venomous spines, have caused some to refer to stargazers as “the meanest things in creation”. 3 Immortal Jellyfish The immortal jellyfish is a species of biologically undying jellyfish. It’s found in the Mediterranean Sea and the waters of Japan and has no maximum lifespan. It begins life as a larva and settles down to the sea floor, where it gives rise to a colony of polyps. Each polyp and jellyfish arising from a single larva is a genetically identical clone. The polyps morph into an extensively branched form. Jellyfish then bud off the polyps and continue their life in a free-swimming form. 2 Water Bears Water bears are micro-animals that resemble bears and are believed to be the toughest and most resilient animals on the planet. They can survive incredibly harsh conditions such as exposure to extreme temperatures or pressures, radiation, air deprivation, dehydration and even starvation. They can go without food or water for more than 30 years. Their barrel-shaped bodies usually only grow up to 0.02 inches long and have four pairs of legs, each with four to eight claws. 1 Sea Spiders The sea spider is not really an arachnid, but a marine arthropod. It got the name from its eerie resemblance to a spider. It has eight long legs and a small body. Most species of sea spiders are so small that each of their muscles consists of only one cell. They’re most common in shallow waters where they’re usually found walking along the bottom.

Who lives at the bottom of the Mariana trench? Scientists have finally revealed the Mariana Trench mystery. Take a look at the deepest creature ever caught there! The curiosity of human nature makes people look for secrets and mysteries far away from home, like in outer space or on other planets. Scientists have mapped only 5 percent of our planet’s seafloor. And if you’ve ever considered the ocean plain and boring, the video you’re about to watch will blow your mind. Although almost everybody has heard the name, we have shockingly little data about this dark underwater place in the western Pacific Ocean. It’s a monumental task mapping the seafloor and taking pictures when the water pressure at the bottom is more than 1,000 times greater than that at the surface! You won't believe that fishermen actually caught these gigantic sea monsters! Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg SyFy recently aired the third film in their so-bad-its-good “Sharknado” series, prompting some to wonder if airborne, tornado-based sharks could actually be real. Okay, so no one is really wondering that. Still, though, the ocean continues to represent a great unknown to us, providing home to countless species, many of which remain a mystery to humanity. The more we learn about what lurks deep below the surface, the more we realize still remains uncovered. With two-thirds of the Earth’s surface covered in water, it stands to reason that a great deal of that space remains unexplored. Of course, just because humankind hasn’t covered every iota of ground along the ocean floor, it doesn’t mean that those areas are uninhabited. All we know for sure is that the truly deepest depths of the world’s oceans continue to offer surprises, even as scientific technology becomes increasingly advanced. New species unlike any others known before are routinely discovered, with entirely new and alien biomes in extreme environments that no life had even been thought possible have challenged our very notions of what life is and how it has evolved. Amidst the cold darkness of a low-lying ocean area with depths that no sunlight can penetrate lies an alien world of incredibly rare and mysterious species. While many are simple, harmless omnivores, they share the ocean floor with some pretty unsettling forces. These ocean-based creatures – those that we know about, anyway – change everything we think we know about fish. Each one has at least one predominant feature that stands out as being unlike anything seen before. Think you know sharks? Well, how about one with a saw-like nose or a frilly, eel-like body. Think you’ve seen some big fish? How about a 17-metre long swimmer or a 900-pound squid or even a 5,000-pound behemoth sunfish? Lurking within the ocean are a number of deadly, threatening, vicious creatures that are naturally designed and programmed to hunt and stalk their prey. Thankfully, most of these monsters live at pressures that humans could never survive at – not that they would survive long down there, anyway. In recent years, Hollywood has sparked a fascination with zombies, aliens and other forces that exist beyond the realms of our planet and that are not steeped in reality. Despite that, some of the strangest and most terrifying creatures in the universe lie beneath the surface of bodies of water with which we are, at least partially, familiar. As we sit on a beach staring out at the natural beauty of the Pacific Ocean, we remain blissfully oblivious to all that lurks within. This list seeks to open the door to an entire world of deep sea activity, featuring a cast of creepy and spooky characters that few even know exist. These 10 fish, some of whom may seem to be borne out of your darkest nightmares, are all very real and may give you second thoughts the next time you foray into the ocean. And these are just the ones we know about… Check out these other awesome videos! 10 Shockingly Large Creatures That Actually Exist https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9odlL5Ti3dc 10 Things That Will Happen When Humans Go Extinct https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ml_awEqbEE Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheRichest.org Twitter: https://twitter.com/TheRichest_Com Instagram: http://instagram.com/therichest For more videos and articles visit: http://www.therichest.com/

5 Unexplained & Mysterious Deep Sea Creatures Caught On Camera 2016 Transcript: There is no doubt our oceans contain many mysteries and creatures that go beyond our imagination. Really. Just imagine how many deep sea creatures we havent found that would simply blow our mind if we ever caught them on camera... But today you are lucky because here are 5 Unexplained & Mysterious Deep Sea Creatures Caught On Camera! Prepare because here.... we begin... 1. The Corfu Island Creature A Scottish tourist named Harvey Robertson had the shock of his life as he found the image of a mysterious creature in his vacation’s pictures. Harvey was on a cruise with his family in Corfu when he took a series of photographs from the inside of a cave. But what he didnt notice was the monster he captured in a cave around the island of Corfu that has a snout and unusual eyes with very uncommon characteristics. Up to this day, biologists are still examining this mysterious sea creature but havent found one clue to what it can be. Although people are starting to think that this could be an animal from the Greek mythology. Interesting..... 2. Giant Pyrosome Divers in Australia have captured rare images of the Pyrostremma , or pyrosome sea creature off the coast of Tasmania. It is so rare that it has been dubbed as the 'Unicorn of the Sea' and can grow up to 30 metres long - the equivalent of two double-decker buses laid end-to-end. Its hollow, translucent, cylindrical body is made up of thousands of tiny clones called zooids that pull water through its tubes and feed on plankton before pushing the filtered water back out. (Say this while video is also playing) 3. The Flying Spaghetti Monster This unusual marine animal you are about to see was recently caught on camera near the coast of Angola.A team from BP was carrying out routine operations near an oil well, using a remotely operated underwater vehicle at a depth of 1325 metres, when they spotted the creature, which they nicknamed the flying spaghetti monster. Intrigued, they sent footage of it to Daniel Jones from the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton, UK. Here is the footage of the mysterious deep sea creature. 4. The Mysterious Jellyfish The video you are about to see shows a very strange deep sea creature that was unexpectedly floating into view on an oil ridge camera. The mysterious sea creature was spotted 5 thousand feet deep in the gulf of New Mexico 2 years ago but was just identified by a marine biologist. After so much research, The biologist then found out that this strange creature you are about to see is actually a giant deep sea jellyfish.Take a look at the footage... 5. The Mysterious Giant Squid Squids are not known to spend time at the surface and usually live deep underwater which are most commonly being discovered when they die and wash up on the beaches. In the video you are about to see, a the massive squid comes close to the submerged camera as a crowd of spectators marvel in complete awe. Could the legendary Giant squid squid actually exist? So I was misled and this footage (or at least still images) has indeed been posted before elsewhere. But it's still incredible video and worth watching. And nothing I said in the commentary needs to be changed. Hopefully it will remind you that this planet does not just belong to humans. 1) Song "Dainty Gent" by Holiday - http://allthingsnext.com/2013/05/30/holiday-exclusive-video-premiere/ 2) Help save the grandest animals on our planet - www.greatwhaleconservancy.org 3) How many species go extinct per year? - http://wwf.panda.org/about_our_earth/biodiversity/biodiversity/ 4) Watch the most heartwarming video of the rescue of a whale trapped in a plastic net - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBYPlcSD490

In this video, we will explore the top 10 mythical sea creatures. Number 10. Cthulhu. Cthulhu is an undersea monster and has been described as a mix between a giant octopus, a man and a dragon... It is hundreds of meters tall, with human-looking arms and legs and a pair of wings on its back. Cthulhu's head looks like an octopus, with tentacles surrounding its supposed mouth... H. P. Lovecraft's story, "The Call of Cthulhu", established the character as a malevolent entity hibernating within an underwater city in the South Pacific called R'lyeh... Games company TSR included an entire chapter on the Cthulhu mythos in Deities & Demigods (1980)… Number 9. Leviathan. The Leviathan of the Middle Ages was used as an image of Satan, attempting to eat God’s creatures... Leviathan became associated with, and may originally have referred to, the visual motif of the Hellmouth, a monstrous animal into whose mouth the damned disappear at the Last Judgement... Young Earth Creationists argue that both the Leviathan and the Behemoth in the Bible could only have been dinosaurs that they claim still existed when the Book of Job was written... In the study of demonology, the Leviathan is one of the seven princes of Hell and its gatekeeper.

Fisherman Roman Fedortsov from Russia catches some terrifying-looking marine creatures in his net -- and posts pictures of them on Twitter and Instagram. Many of the fish Fedortsov pulls out of the water look quite dangerous, but he regularly handles the creatures without any trace of fear. While deep-sea creatures tend to have an alien-like appearance to begin with, it’s also known that changes in pressure can affect the appearance of some when they’re brought to the surface. Thousands of feet below the sea, they are subjected to extremely high pressures. Pls Share & Subscribe For More!
