Measure Cutter And Raker Gap With A Feeler Gauge (11/13)

01:57
If you found this product I bet you have a pile of saw chains that you've rotated through and have piled up because, as you keep telling yourself, you've been "meaning to get to it". Well, here's a job you can happily give to a robot - meet TEMCo Industrial's automatic saw chain sharpener. Yup, you read that correctly. It's automatic. That means you put your dulled saw chain on the sharpener's track and this thing sharpens every blade perfectly. It'll even do the rakers by swapping out the grinding disc, which comes with your purchase of course. Why shell out for an automatic one? First, we bet this sharpener does a better job than you do at it, and it'll do it faster. Second, you already know it's a hassle and a huge time investment to do this yourself. Get your money's worth on that pile of rusting saw chains - get 'em sharp again! And remember, fresh saw chains means you cut faster and more efficiently. Maybe I already had you at "automatic saw chain sharpener," but it gets better. Normally you just plug this into a wall. That means you can't take it with you into the woods, right? WRONG! Included in your purchase are adapters so you either hook this up to a cigarette lighter in your vehicle or to a battery. Is it hard to learn how to use this? Nah. We made a few instructional videos for you so that you can easily figure it out. So, what are you waiting for? Grab yourself a brand new TEMCo Industrial automatic saw chain sharpener and get back to doing that hard work! Marketing Guru David Aaker, "Brand Relevance"

50:15
Marketing guru and Haas Professor Emeritus David Aaker talks about his new book, Brand Relevance, as part of the David Aaker Distinguished Speaker Series. In this event at the University of California, Berkeley's Haas School of Business, Aaker describes a competitive strategy of developing innovative offerings that make competitors irrelevant. The University of California Berkeley Haas School of Business is one of the world's leading producers of new ideas and knowledge in all areas of business - which includes the distinction of having two of its faculty members receive the Nobel Prize in Economics over the past 15 years. The school offers six degree-granting programs. Its mission is to develop innovative business leaders - individuals who redefine how we do business by putting new ideas into action, and who do so responsibly. The school's distinctive culture is defined by four key principles - question the status quo; confidence without attitude; students always; and, beyond yourself. The Prospect’s Perception Gap: How to bridge the gap between results we want & results we have

01:18:58
People challenged with a claim naturally resist it. But people who arrive at a conclusion will naturally defend it. In this session, Flint McGlaughlin, Founder and Managing Director, MECLABS Institute (parent research organization of MarketingSherpa), will share the levers you can pull to help your customers arrive at the right conclusions about your brand. McGlaughlin will integrate case studies around value proposition and branding from almost 20 years of consumer behavior research to help attendees at every level in an organization. Business leaders will discover how to rethink how they communicate their brand while marketers will learn to transform the messaging of any piece of marketing collateral to, ultimately, improve results by replacing promises with expectations and claims with conclusions.

Close The GAP (unofficial Gap ad)

00:47
DISCLAIMER AT 0:34 *THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL GAP COMMERCIAL AND IS NOT SPONSORED NOR ENDORSED BY GAP* Use of Gaps logo is under fair use in a fictional work: "Portraying a logo in a fictional work, be it movie or illustrated novel, would generally not be considered an infringement as long as the use doesn’t confuse the viewer on who owns the logo’s trademark. The use of trademarks in fiction is recognized as a means for enhancing realism in a story. Even where a non-owner’s use of a logo or any trademark is considered fair or nominative use, the Publishing Law Center recommends attaching a disclaimer that identifies the owner of the logo, and that the logo is not authorized by, sponsored by, or associated with the trademark owner." SOURCE: http://smallbusiness.chron.com/fair-use-logos-2152.html ------------------------------ Welcome to Close The Gap: a visual project curated by both lovers and creative directors, Miro LaFlaga and Ashgrxphics. Whether it be emotionally or creatively, they compliment and challenge each other to be innovative with their craft. Ash and Miro’s creation was an opportunity for them to put everything they knew together and produce a strong collection of visuals. The storyline of Close the Gap is a flirty one, in which two models interact with one another from their own individual frames. The white space between them represents the Gap keeping them from each other. The word Gap in this project was a huge inspiration for the duo and takes on more than one meaning: not only did they want to create an appealing visual that stands out, but they also want to show the world what young people of colour are capable of. They aim to be a positive representation of their peers, in order to close the gap in a creative scene that lacks much diversity. Being a brand that embraces diversity, inspiration was drawn from GAP clothing and their minimalistic ads to create a new campaign with a creative twist. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Produced by: Ashgrxphics & Miro LaFlaga Creative Directors: Ashgrxphics & Miro LaFlaga Models: Ashgrxphics & Miro LaFlaga Hairstylist: Simone Cambridge Makeup Artist: Christine White Motion Design: Ashgrxphics Videographer: HR Heisenberg Music: Jamvvis - Feel like fallin' ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Miro LaFlaga: http://mirolaflaga.com https://facebook.com/Mirolaflaga https://twitter.com/mirolaflaga https://instagram.com/mirolaflaga/ Ashgrxphics: https://facebook.com/Ashgrxphics https://twitter.com/Ashgrxphics https://instagram.com/Ashgrxphics

16 FAMOUS LOGOS WITH A HIDDEN MEANING (That We Never Even Noticed)

06:33
How to design a successful logo? How to build a famous brand for your business? Some of the most well-known logos in the world were purposefully designed to indicate something much more than simple beauty. In fact, it seems that in some cases, every line, curve, and color has meaning behind it. Adidas, Apple, BMW, Coca-Cola, Toyota… We see these famous brands everywhere but never consider what their logos exactly mean. Curious to know the secret? Watch the 16 famous logos with a hidden meaning you've never noticed. #logomeaning #logosecret # Hyundai 0:33 The letter ’Н’ symbolizes two people – a client and a representative of the company – shaking hands. Adidas 0:52 The current logo is three stripes at an angle which together form a triangle. This symbolizes a mountain, which in turn represents the challenges that all sportsmen have to overcome day after day. Apple 1:21 Rob Janoff, the designer who came up with the world-famous Apple company logo, explained his idea in one of his interviews. He bought a bag of apples, placed them in a bowl, and spent time drawing them for a week, trying to break the image down into something simple. Vaio 1:58 The first two letters of the Vaio logo symbolize an analogue wave. The last two are similar to the numbers 1 and 0 — that is, symbols of a digital signal. Amazon 2:14 The orange arrow is similar to a smile because the company wants its customers to be satisfied. The arrow is also stretched between the letters ’A’ and ’Z’, in a hint that the company sells absolutely every product you can imagine. Baskin Robbins 2:40 The pink-colored parts of the "BR" section make up the number 31, which is how many ice cream flavors Baskin Robbins used to famously sell. Toyota 2:56 The logo represents a stylized image of a needle eye with a thread passing through it. This is a hint at the company’s past – they used to produce weaving machines. Continental 3:28 Continental, a famous car tire producer, has a logo in which the first two letters depict a car wheel. Formula 1 3:41 If you look carefully at the white space between the letter ’F’ and the red stripes, you can see the number 1. Pinterest 3:59 On Pinterest, people collect images they like from across the Internet and ’pin’ them to their online boards. That’s why the image of a pin is hidden in the letter P. Beats 4:17 Beats, an audio equipment producer based in the USA, uses a logo in which the letter ’B’ looks like headphones on a person’s head. Toblerone 4:32 The famous chocolate company based in Bern, Switzerland, has a silhouette of a bear in its logo. That's because Bern is sometimes called a city of bears. BMW 4:55 The logo is simply a part of the Bavarian flag, the area of Germany where the company originated. LG 5:18 The logo is a stylized image of a person’s face. According to the company, this represents its aspiration to have human relations with their customers. Evernote 5:34 The corner of the elephant’s ear is folded over in a similar way how people fold the corner of a page to make notes. Coca-Cola 5:57 In the space between the letters ’O’ and ’L’, you can see the Danish flag. It’s purely a coincidence. Nevertheless, Coca-Cola has used this as part of its marketing campaigns in the Scandinavian country. If you’ve enjoyed this video, hit that thumbs up button! The internet kills Gap's new logo

00:28
Privacy Policy: http://www.cnn.com/privacy.html Photo Caption: Gap Inc. says it will revert back to its classic logo after online consumer complaints. (CNN) -- The internet's logo snobs won this one. Gap Inc. on Monday announced it will drop a new version of its logo after thousands of Facebook and Twitter users called for a return to the classic blue box with tall, white letters -- a logo the clothing retailer has used for more than 20 years. The now-defunct new logo featured a white background, black letters and a small blue square in the top right corner. After the company proposed the new logo on its website on October 4, the internet lit up with snotty comments about the new look. "It reminds me of the old Microsoft Free Clip-art galleries," one Facebook user wrote. "I can't believe this is happening." Another wrote: "It totally looks like a powerpoint design!" The company responded with a Facebook post of its own on Monday. "OK. We've heard loud and clear that you don't like the new logo," the company said. "We've learned a lot from the feedback. We only want what's best for the brand and our customers." More than 1,700 people clicked that they "liked" that decision. "Yay! I don't know why it matters, but it does," one Facebook user wrote in response to that post. Another Facebook user wrote: "bit of an embarrassing 180 [degree turn], but at least you had the guts to face up to it, well done." After the logo complaints started rolling in, Gap on October 6 said it would "crowdsource" the design of its brand, meaning it would take alternate suggestions from fans and might decide to use one of them. But on Monday the company said that idea didn't work either. "We've learned a lot in this process," the company said in a press release. "And we are clear that we did not go about this in the right way. We recognize that we missed the opportunity to engage with the online community. This wasn't the right project at the right time for crowdsourcing." A Gap spokeswoman did not immediately respond to CNN's requests for comment. The back-and-forth has spawned several joke websites. One, called Crap Logo Yourself, lets people create their own icons in the style of the now-dead Gap logo. And two Twitter accounts were born from the snafu. @NewGapLogo has been responding to complaints. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder," said an October 7 post on that Twitter feed. Another, @OldGapLogo, had been calling for a return to the old logo. On Tuesday, however, that account posted what appeared to be a final tweet: "Well...looks like my work here is done. Peace. I'm out," it said. Plenty of news sites and blogs took their stabs at the new logo, too. Vanity Fair even wrote an obituary for it: "The new Gap logo is survived by its antagonistic Twitter feed and a dozen 'failed branding strategies' slide shows, in which it will be archived in the annals of history," the magazine wrote. "To heaven, the Helvetica now ascends." This obviously isn't the first time a company has backed off of a branding change. The blog The Stir has a nice roundup of marketing history's biggest blunders, including the New Coke experiment. For more information about why Gap says it changed the logo in the first place, see this article by Marka Hansen, president of Gap North America, on the Huffington Post. "We want our customers to take notice of Gap and see what it stands for today," Hansen wrote on October 7. "We chose this design as it's more contemporary and current. It honors our heritage through the blue box while still taking it forward." Well, at least until they changed it back again. What It Means To Be Red Pilled

22:13
“The red pill” has become such a pervasive metaphor for a reason: The gap between what the elites and the mainstream narrative is claiming and what is actually going on has become too big to ignore. And as that gap widens, not only will more people become red-pilled—there will be a greater likelihood of revolution. Please support me on Patreon—thank you: https://www.patreon.com/CoachRedPill I love comments on each video, and I try to answer any question posed there as earnestly as I can—but I cut loose on my twitter: Trolling and other fuckery goes on there.

Wilson D7 Irons Review - Mid-Handcap Testing

05:52
Our Wilson D7 irons review took place at the brand's launch event at Castle Royle near Reading and at Leicester Golf Centre using their Toptracer technology. We know from the letter 'D' that these are Wilson's distance irons. So the Wilson D7 irons replace the D300 range and are aimed more at mid-high handicappers. Their C300 range sits in the middle and the FG Tour range are aimed at elite golfers. Wilson D7 irons review: First impressions I like the design of these clubs. There's clearly some visual technology but not quite as much as we have seen in the D300 and C300 range. The D7 irons are quite clean and simple with a really nice, shiny chrome finish. Wilson D7 irons review They are still quite large and do have a fair bit of offset but they are by no means offensive. I like the subtle branding too. For a super game-improvement iron, I think Wilson have done a good job at squeezing a lot of technology into a decent-looking package. This will be one of Wilson's mass market products for 2019 so the price point is pretty friendly too. A 5-SW set of the Wilson D7 irons will set you back £469 which before I have even hit them tells me that's a very competitive price. Wilson D7 irons review: The technology Wilson say that the D7 irons will give you power when you need it and precision when you want it. That's all well and good but how are they going to deliver on that promise? Well, we've still got Wilson's 'power hole' technology like we saw in the C300 and D300 but this time it's more progressive meaning more power holes in the longer irons and fewer in the short irons. The power holes help add ball speed by allowing the face the flex a bit more. We've got three rows on the 4-7 irons, two on the 8 and 9 iron and one on the pitching wedge. Wilson D7 irons review And another thing I like about the D7 irons is that they've done away with the power holes on the top line. I understand the need for visible technology in products of this nature but I think seeing the power holes in the address position was a possible turn-off for golfers looking at the C300 and D300. So we've got a much cleaner look at address with the D7 which isn't going to put anyone off from the outset. We've also got an ultra thin face and even lower CG than with the D300 which is very important considering the lofts on these irons. There's an eye-watering 28 degrees of loft on the 7-iron here but Wilson say the low CG will still help launch these irons nice and high to make them playable. Wilson say they have also increased the MOI by 10 per cent on their predecessors. There's some pretty decent KBS steel and UST-Mamiya graphite shafts as stock options which adds even more value for money. So how did they perform for our equipment editor? Find out on the next page... Wilson D7 irons review: The results Before even hitting these clubs I'd say that they were ticking a lot of boxes. Improved looks on the D300, good shaft options and all at an extremely reasonable price. But no one is going to buy them if they don't perform well and they sound and feel horrible. Thankfully that is not the case. The Wilson D7 irons are right up there for distance and ball speed - just as quick as any other models we have tested over the past 12 months. Wilson D7 irons review They sound and feel pretty good too. They are quite loud but they still have a fairly soft feel. There's no unwanted vibrations. The D7 irons are also very easy to launch and despite their strong lofts, they seem to be flying high enough to allow the ball to stop on the green. They are good fun to use and I think they do exactly what they say on the tin. I wouldn't have any problem at all using a full set of these. Wilson D7 irons review: NCG verdict These irons won't be everyone's cup of tea because they are still quite large and have a lot of offset. But they will definitely suit a lot of golfers - particularly those who fell like they need a bit more distance with their irons. Wilson D7 irons review I'm not too sure you could ask for much more for £469. The performance seems right up there with other brands who are charging at least £200 more. I do have a slight issue with the strength of the lofts because the 7-iron here is effectively a 6-iron which means the 5-iron is effectively a 4-iron. And I'm not sure most of the golfers these clubs are aimed at will have the swing speed and quality of strike to deal with that. Hybrids may need to come into play after the 6-iron. So just make sure you go through the set when having your fitting to make sure there are nice even gaps right through the set. Wilson D7 irons details SRP: £469/£599 steel/graphite Shafts: KBS Tour 80/UST-Mamiya 460 Recoil On sale: Mid-January 2019 More information can be found on the Wilson website.

Jordan Peterson | BEST MOMENTS

24:27
Jordan Peterson Merch https://teespring.com/stores/jordan-peterson-merch Best Seller https://bit.ly/2KEFwbl Professor of psychology Dr. Jordan B Peterson's very best moments, all-in-one. Most will probably find the first clip almost unbearable due to the nature of the ''definitely not a she'' social justice warrior ''trying'' to debate with Dr. Jordan B Peterson. Jordan Bernt Peterson is a Canadian clinical psychologist, cultural critic, and professor of psychology at the University of Toronto. His main areas of study are the psychology of religious and ideological belief, and the assessment and improvement of personality and performance. He earned a degree in political science in 1982 and a degree in psychology in 1984, both from the University of Alberta, and his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from McGill University in 1991. He remained at McGill as a post-doctoral fellow for two years before moving to Massachusetts, where he worked as an assistant and an associate professor in the psychology department at Harvard University. In 1997, he moved to the University of Toronto as a full professor. Dr. Jordan B Peterson has been a dishwasher, gas jockey, bartender, short-order cook, beekeeper, oil derrick bit re-tipper, plywood mill labourer and railway line worker. He’s taught mythology to lawyers, doctors and businessmen, consulted for the UN Secretary General’s High Level Panel on Sustainable Development, helped his clinical clients manage depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety, and schizophrenia, served as an advisor to senior partners of major Canadian law firms, identified thousands of promising entrepreneurs on six different continents, and lectured extensively in North America and Europe. He has flown a hammer-head roll in a carbon-fiber stunt plane, piloted a mahogany racing sailboat around Alcatraz Island, explored an Arizona meteorite crater with a group of astronauts, built a Native American Long-House on the upper floor of his Toronto home, and been inducted into the coastal Pacific Kwakwaka’wakw tribe. With his students and colleagues, Dr. Peterson has published more than a hundred scientific papers, transforming the modern understanding of personality, and revolutionized the psychology of religion with his now-classic book, Maps of Meaning: The Architecture of Belief. As a Harvard professor, he was nominated for the prestigious Levinson Teaching Prize, and is regarded by his current University of Toronto students as one of three truly life-changing teachers.

Finding the gap

03:31
Did you find the gap? What is there that knowing it everything else is known.... Is it a gap? What is there between movement of what moves... vibrates should I say? Lovely quote
