[00:30] Kenzo Pour Homme Review:
A refined seabreeze concoction, Kenzo Pour Homme is an original woody aquatic feautring a plethora of notes.
A rich accord of seaweed and sea salt notes interact on a bed of rosemary, sweet bergamot and savoury mahogany that gives off hints of leather. Jasmine and geranium closely follow, which are downplayed by deep aromatic notes of sage and spicy cloves.
Overt cedar wood provides a sharp contrast to a base of moist and earthy oak moss, patchouli and the animalistc yet marine musk presence of ambergris.
Overall, Kenzo Pour Homme leans heavily on spring and summer wear due to its marine theme. However, it can just about be worn during winter thanks to its spicier notes.
[04:30] Wake & Strength:
Kenzo Homme features an enduring longevity, which ensures moderate projection and sillage throughout the day.
[05:23] 3rd Party Feedback:
Generally, people loved Kenzo Homme for its vivid aquatic imagery and refined composition. However, although they were a minority, some testers noted faint rubber or plastic scents from the fragrance due to a mild aldehydic presence.
Although a more refined and mature variation of Davidoff Cool Water, Kenzo Homme is best worn by the same demographic. Therefore, Kenzo Homme is ideally worn by men in their twenties as all-day casual fragrance. The masculinity is relatively moderate.
Kenzo Homme's bottle is a stylish curve that fits well in the hand. However, the blue film is prone to scratching. The plastic atomiser is an interesting intention but isn't overly attractive. The packaging is an elegant 90s-themed box featuring bamboo leaves down the side. Finally, Kenzo Homme offers great value for money.
Kenzo’s entry masculine fragrance has endured since 1991 thanks to an unparalleled unique marine blend. An evergreen scent with vivid imagery of sea salt and driftwood, this often overlooked EdT offers an authentic sea breeze experience with a colourful drydown that’s a joy to discover on every spray.
