Let us show here how to create new or edit existing Part Finder in Magento 2? For this, please navigate to Stores - M-Connect Media - Part Finders. Now, click the Add Part Finder button. It takes you to the Part Finder information page where you can edit the General Settings.
First, you need to enter the name of the Part Finder in the Title text box that you want to create. Second, in the Status drop-down, click Enable or Disable a particular part finder. Third, select the position of the Part Finder like Top, Left Sidebar, or Right Sidebar from the Position drop-down.
Finally, hit the ‘Save Part Finder’ button placed in the top-right corner.
Now, we will go to find the method to edit an existing Part Finder in Magento 2 store. For it, tick the checkbox on the Product Finder display page and select the one you want to edit.
Select the Edit function from the Action column, as it takes you to the Part Finder information page. You can select the Fields tab here and add parameters like Color, Size, etc.
To do it, you need to enter the Name of the parameter, and set the order of appearance from the Sort drop-down. You can enable or disable the Range functionality by selecting ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ option from the Range drop-down.
Once you finish, save the settings for Part Finder,
Now, navigate to ‘Part Finder Information’ page and click on the ‘Import’ tab to edit ‘Import Data’ parameters. In the ‘Import Behavior’ drop-down, select product data import type, as ‘Append Data’ or ‘Delete Existing Data.'
Import the product CSV file by browsing it from the ‘Select CSV File’ option. Click on the ‘Download CSV’ link to get the CSV file with all the data. Browse the file from the local PC. Save the file.
Now, navigate to ‘Product’ tab of the ‘Part Finder Information’ page. You can check the product list and click the ‘Save Part Finder’ button to save changes.
Now, you need to activate particular part finder to display it on the category page.
