To apply several formats in one step, and to make sure that cells have consistent formatting, you can use a cell style. A cell style is a defined set of formatting characteristics, such as fonts and font sizes, number formats, cell borders, and cell shading. To prevent anyone from making changes to specific cells, you can also use a cell style that locks cells. I have delivered 12 videos on Basic Excel for beginners. Format a cell in quick by choosing a cell style. You can also create your own cell style in Excel. Microsoft Office Excel has several built-in cell styles that you can apply or modify. You can also modify or duplicate a cell style to create your own and able to import to one sheet from another. Quickly format a cell by choosing a cell style. You can also create your own cell style. Quickly format a range of cells by choosing a table style. Instead of formatting cells manually, you can use Excel's predesigned cell styles. Cell styles are a quick way to include professional formatting for different parts of your workbook, such as titles and headers. .Here you will learn how to design cell styles in different way as you desired. You can choose defaults or customized. When you want to format cells in Microsoft Excel, you can do it manually, by selecting fonts, font color and size, background colors and borders, or you can do the formatting quickly and automatically using styles. There are two advantages to using styles: Speed. When you have a lot of cells to format, it’s faster to apply a style than to apply all the formatting features individually. And if you need to change a formatting feature of all the cells – like just the color or the font – changing the style definition will immediately update the cell formatting. Consistency. When formatting a lot of cells, it’s easy to make a mistake and select a slightly different color or font size. But when you apply styles, the exact, same formatting gets applied every time. Any use of outside source material must be documented on the PowerPoint slide using APA citation formats from the 6th edition. Because PowerPoint slides are mainly a visual medium, the presenter must know how APA documents elements such as images, tables, graphs, and other media with titles, notes, and APA parenthetical citations. APA style and citation formats still apply to PowerPoint slides although the citations are being using in a different medium.

In this video, I walk you through the process of formatting a paper in APA style using Microsoft 365. There are more technical ways to accomplish certain tasks, but I wanted to make this video as easy to follow as possible for you. Notes: The "enter 10x" shortcut may need to be adjusted if you are asked to include a date on the cover page or your title is more than one line. If your APA formatting is not 100% accurate by the time you complete the steps in this video, you likely missed a small step: perhaps the "option" step when working on the running head or the change we made to "line spacing" to remove the extra space between paragraphs.
