Thanks to Hotel English Point (https://www.hotelenglishpoint.com/) for hosting me and my family in Mombasa, Kenya. I did not pay for me stay here. That being said, we had an incredible stay.
During my food trip to Mombasa, Kenya (you can watch the full video series here: ), we stayed at Hotel English Point, located across a channel of water from Mombasa Island. It's in a great location though, with easy access to the center of the city, yet far enough so it's quiet and peaceful, and yet you still have a nice view of Mombasa from the hotel.
The rooms, which are actually more like full entire apartment units, are very spacious, extremely modern, and very well designed. So well designed and clean in fact that it took me a while to find out where the fridge was located.
In this video I'm taking you on a full tour of one of the best hotels in Mombasa, taking a quick swim, eating breakfast, and then a full room tour.
Thank you for watching and thank you again to Hotel English Point Marina for hosting me in Mombasa, Kenya!

I am kenyan ,i am lucky to enjoy my time in singapore ,istanbul,Dubai, cairo ,Berlin ,paris, Alexandria, malaysia and perth australia, unfortunately i have never been to mombasa.I will be here soon, nice place to enjoy my time.
One Day. In shaa Allah. By God's grace I'll build such an apartment for myself. Then I'll lie on the balcony bed, close my eyes and not think about anything. I don't know how it will happen but God does.
I couldn't figure out why it bothers me so much to hear him say his son's name until now. It's because he says it like he's talking to a dog. I keep expecting him to say "Hi, buddy." and rub him on the head like he would a dog. What was with that fake, awkward "play time" he had with his son. I guess he's trying. Some dads don't even do that.
I'm happy to have worked with yu English point the hotel experience gained is now I'm using outside Kenya as one of the hotelier, mr phynis,Mr Omollo, william n other stuffmates wishing yu the very best.
I was here last year and i can say it looks high-tech and clean with security checkpoint at the entrance like you see on the airport. The prices aren't luxury category however. I didn't use the hotel itself I've already had a place to rest therefore i was not inside the building. I can say, this building does not fit into the environment and traditions of Mombasa. Its style is way different. This kind of modernity can be seen in Europe, the US and the advanced Asian cities with skyscrapers. Maybe it's just my taste but if i go to a different country i like local and traditional things. I can see such here in europe i travel because i want to see and try something different and i don't want to see nor eat nor hear the same. Anyway this hotel-apartment block is wonederful but if you look around from the balcony it simply doesn't fit there.
The exterior finish of the hotel has the appearance of being a cruise ship! Multiple decks and beautiful lines. Very nice. Our family visited Mombase 45 years ago, and we stayed at a place called Children's Resort. It was a nice, safe family hotel. Had to feed the bathtub hot water heater shilling coins, Lol! Visited Fort Jesus, ate samosas, drank sweet Kenyan chai. Oh yum!
Kenya is a super gorgeous place to visit, but an even better safari destination. Mark, make a point of visiting any of the numerous world renowned Safari Parks in Kenya, you won't be disappointed. I should know, I was born there!
